God imbued His attributes into humanity—love, goodness, justice, compassion. However, because humans do not listen to God and commit sins, they fall short of God’s standards. Sin separates humans from God, and as a consequence of sin, humans face the penalty of death.
God did not desire for humanity to perish, so He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, who was born as a human. He died to redeem humanity from sin, and on the third day, He rose from the dead to free us from the power of sin. Today, Jesus Christ redeems each of us, but our responsibility is to accept this redemption through faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
